Standing in an elevated location, Cluny croft Self Catering cottage enjoys panoramic views across the upper Spey Valley to the surrounding hills and mountains.

Set amidst the magnificent scenery of Cairngorm National Park, this charming Self Catering Holiday Cottage provides an ideal holiday base. The Spey valley offers a perfect base for both the active and those who prefer a more peaceful break.

Cluny Croft Self Catering Cottage retains the traditional character of a croft, whilst providing the modern facilities needed to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. The Holiday Cottage sleeps up to six adults in three bedrooms and includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, bathroom and a cosy sitting room with traditional stone hearth and open log fire.

This Self Catering Holiday Cottage located in the Spey valley is surrounded by a mature fenced garden which provides a safe and secure area for children and pets, with woods and hills close by.

Cluny Croft has been upgraded to retain the traditional character of a croft, whilst providing the modern facilities needed to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay.

It sleeps six comfortably, with one double room, one twin room and a single room, with the option of an additional Z Bed. The third bedroom and the main bathroom are located on the ground floor which means that the accommodation is well laid out for elderly or disabled visitors.

The large dining kitchen has an electric hob, fan assisted double oven, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer and everything needed to cater for six people.
The sitting room is cosy and contains a traditional stone hearth and open log fire.
There is also a separate dining room.

The bathroom contains a bath with overhead electric shower. There is a second toilet upstairs. Being in the country the cottage has its own private water supply from a nearby spring which can mean occasional inconsistencies in water pressure.

Heating & Fuel: The cottage has full gas central heating on the ground floor, electric panel heaters in the upstairs bedrooms and a traditional stone built open fire in the sitting room. A fixed rate of £15 per week is charged for gas / electricity, however this does not cover the actual cost and we would ask guests to use their discretion in the use of heaters, particularly when the cottage is left empty during the day. A complimentary supply of wood and coal will be ready for your arrival with further supplies available at £2.00 per bucket of coal or basket of logs. If you use additional coal / logs please leave cash or a cheque payable to ‘Cluny Croft Account’ for the relevant amount.

	Parking: There is off road parking for 3 cars. Linen: All linen and towels are provided. Pets: Pets are allowed but we would ask that you inform the owners in advance. We also request that animals are not left in the cottage unattended.

Cleaning: The cottage is thoroughly cleaned between lets, however, we would appreciate the cottage being left clean and tidy on departure as there is limited time between holiday lets. The cost of any extraordinary cleaning or breakages will be deducted from the £100 returnable deposit.

Refuse: Rubbish is collected by the Local Authority on Friday mornings and we would be grateful if you could place any bin bags in the green wheelie bin outside the gate. There is a separate green box for recycling bottles and cans.

Shopping: The nearest shop is in Laggan, 1½ miles west of the cottage which sells an excellent range of local and organic produce. A full range of shops can be found in Newtonmore and Kingussie including bank, petrol station and mini market. Murchies delicatessen in Kingussie stocks virtually everything you could possibly need for your holiday. We would urge you to shop locally and support the local economy rather than stocking up at a national supermarket chain en route to your holiday destination.
