By Road

Cluny Croft is situated in the hamlet of Balgowan (just off the A96 Kingussie – Spean Bridge Road ), some 6 miles west of Newtonmore and 1½ miles East of Laggan.

Travelling from the South

From Perth continue up the A9 taking the Newtonmore turnoff. In Newtonmore take the left turn signposted Laggan and Spean Bridge and continue westwards along this road for 6 miles. Take a small single road to the right marked Balgowan. Cluny Croft is the first building on your left, 150 metres up the road.

Travelling from the North

Turn off the A9 at Kingussie and follow the A86 Kingussie – Spean Bridge Road passing through Newtonmore. Continue westwards along this road for 6 miles and take a small single road to the right marked Balgowan. Cluny Croft is the first building on your left, 150 metres up the road.

Travelling from the West

Turn off the A82 at Spean Bridge and travel along the A86 for 29 miles, passing through Laggan. Continue eastwards for a 1½ miles and take the second road to the left marked Balgowan (400 metres after the first road). Cluny Croft is the first building on your left, 150 metres up the road.

By Air

Cluny Croft is w ithin two hours drive of the international airports at  Edinburgh & Glasgow. Inverness airport is within an hours drive.

By Rail

Services from London , Edinburgh and Glasgow stop at Newtonmore, Kingussie, Aviemore and Inverness . For timetable information contact GNER.
